On June 12, the first wind turbine of the Yongxing Project, owned by CR Power Northwest Hubei Company, was successfully hoisted in Jingshan, Hubei Province. The project has a planned capacity of 150MW, with 30 5MW wind turbines to be installed. Once completed, the project is expected to provide the grid with 290 million kWh of clean electricity annually. It is estimated that the project will save 100,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 260,000 tons per year once it is operational.
