On July 29th, the Identification and Review List of 2019 Guangdong Youth Science and Technology Education Base was released. “China Resources Haifeng Power Plant Environmental Protection Science Education Base” recommended by China Resources Power (Haifeng) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Haifeng Project) was among the list, and became the only youth science and technology education base in Shanwei being selected this year.

After being put into operation, Haifeng Project has been adhering to the social responsibility pursuit of “green energy, benefiting life”, focusing on inheriting science and technology and expanding education, taking happy experiential education as the carrier, actively utilizing its own hardware facilities and advantages of science education venues, and carrying out free education to the youth in energy conservation, environmental protection publicity and power science knowledge. Up to now, Haifeng Project has organized 55 public open activities with a total of over 5,700 participants, demonstrating the efforts and achievements made by Haifeng Project in the fields of clean power generation technology, energy comprehensive application, and waste disposal.

This award was affirmation and support from all walks of life to Haifeng Project for the continuous environmental protection science population work among the youth. In the future, Haifeng Project will strengthen the construction of corporate science education capacity, give play to the demonstration role of science education base, and actively carry out diverse science popularization activities to guide young people in making contributions to environmental protection.
