On December 18, the first wind turbine of China Resources Power’s Taipusiqi 300MW wind power project in Inner Mongolia was successfully connected to the grid.
The project built a new 220kV booster station, installed 120 2.5MW wind turbines, and integrated 12 circuits. Started on June 22, 2019, the foundation casting and the hoisting of the first wind turbine was finished respectively on August 7 and October 29 the same year. On November 29, 2020, the project succeeded in reverse power transmission at the first try.
With the first batch of wind turbines connected to the grid, the new energy grid-connected installed capacity in the Northern Region exceeded 2 million kilowatts, marking the new energy construction system in the Northern Region of China Resources Power is becoming increasingly complete and the market competition strength has been further enhanced by the end of the “13th Five-Year Plan” period.
