Recently, CR Power was invited to participate in the recording of China Media Group's ESG Lecture. It had an interactive discussion with Fu Chengyu, former chairman of China Petrochemical Corporation and founder of International Research Institute for Carbon Neutrality, focusing on the challenges and opportunities encountered by enterprises against the background of the “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”.

In recent years, the ESG concept consisting of environment, society and governance has increasingly become a global consensus. China Media Group, together with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Enterprise Reform and Development Society and other authoritative institutions, launched the ESG Lecture Program in the series activities of China ESG (Corporate Social Responsibility) Release & Model Ceremony. Authoritative experts deeply engaged in ESG field were invited to give an in-depth interpretation on key hot issues in promoting the construction of ESG system with China's characteristics and the implementation of ESG by Chinese enterprises.

In the program, CR Power shared its actions in the context of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" strategy, namely actively practicing the responsibility pursuit of "Green Energy Moistens Life". By the end of 2023, the installed operating capacity had exceeded 77 million kilowatts, with renewable energy equity accounting for 37.8%. It also strives to achieve the growth target of 40 million kilowatts of renewable energy installed capacity by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan or earlier, and realize the proportion of renewable energy equity installed capacity exceeding 50%; efforts have been made to create a pilot sample of symbiosis with cities, and the world's largest sludge coupling and blending total disposal project has been built to solve the problem of "sludge siege" in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area; it continues to explore the R&D and application of CCUS technology, build Asia's first multi-thread and multi-technology carbon dioxide capture technology platform based on ultra-supercritical thermal power plants, and carry out testing, verification, promotion, application and scientific research of carbon capture technology.

In the future, CR Power will continue to unswervingly promote green development and persistently strive towards the corporate vision of "becoming a world-class clean energy supplier and comprehensive energy service provider".
