On March 26, CR Power held the 2024 Working Conference in Beijing with the theme of "Forging Ahead to Innovate". More than 280 people attended the meeting, including Wang Chuandong, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Group, members and external directors of CR Power's management team, straight-line cadres and full-time directors of CR Power, professional directors of headquarters departments and regions, relevant persons in charge of Chongqing Energy and outstanding employee representatives.

Song Kui, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power and Chairman of Chongqing Energy, made an introductory speech. Zhang Junzheng, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power, made an annual work report of CR Power, summarizing the work in 2023, analyzing the current situation and deploying tasks for 2024. Relevant departments and offices made annual benchmarking reports on development, construction, operation, fuel, finance and organizational performance evaluation respectively. The holding company signs annual performance contracts with relevant regions and Chongqing Energy, while relevant regions and Chongqing Energy sign annual performance contracts with regional companies. At the meeting, awards were presented to advanced units and outstanding employees. Advanced units in investment, construction, operation, EHS, scientific and technological innovation and other categories were commended respectively, and special contribution awards and comprehensive performance contribution awards were issued.

Shi Baofeng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power, delivered a speech titled Salute to Entrepreneurs. In five sentences, he said that we should not forget the touching moments, sweat for achievements, bravely face reality, struggle for happiness and salute to entrepreneurs. He reviewed the touching moments, outstanding achievements and problems that need to be faced and solved of CR Power in the past year with the participants, and made arrangements for the next step. The first is to strengthen the growth pole, adopt one policy for each province, strengthen coordinated expansion of development map, and do a good job in high-quality construction. The second is to stabilize the fundamental market, enhance the signboard of excellent operation, strive to improve the value content of production and operation, and reduce fuel costs. The third is to take the lead, strive to do a good job in comprehensive energy services and accelerate the innovation of energy science and technology. The fourth is to stimulate the source power, deeply implement the action of deepening and upgrading the reform of state-owned enterprises, and do a good job in building talent teams. The fifth is to build the main front, unswervingly strengthen Party building and do a good job in enterprise risk prevention and control. The Chairman, Shi Baofeng called on all cadres and employees of the Group to carry forward the spirit of entrepreneurship, forge ahead with hard work, passion and change. Under the strong leadership of the Party Committee of the Group, we should seize every minute to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with outstanding achievements.

Wang Chuandong, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Group, delivered a speech entitled "Solidly Promoting the "Four-reshaping" Initiatives and Striving to Build a World-class Clean Energy Enterprise", summarizing the Company's achievements in the "Four-reshaping" Initiatives since the 14th Five-Year Plan, pointing out the challenges in high-quality development and other aspects, and putting forward requirements for the next step. First, continue to focus on value reshaping and firmly adhere to the strategic direction. Closely align with the national strategic planning, expand the scale and strengthen the main business. Further enhance core functions, improve core competitiveness, increase investment and consolidate foundation. Continue to develop and expand our business in Hong Kong, strengthen responsibility and demonstrate value. Second, continue to deepen business reshaping and focus on scale development with high quality. Do a solid job in clean and efficient power generation, steadily enhance comprehensive energy service capabilities, and give full play to the role of energy science and technology innovation. Third, continue to strengthen organizational reshaping and promote a more efficient governance model. Consolidate the organizational model that matches business development, improve talent team management and rational allocation, and strengthen the construction of benchmarking system and comprehensive evaluation mechanism. Fourth, continue to promote spiritual reshaping and realize the orientation of entrepreneurship. Fully implement the leadership of the Party, further promote cultural construction, and always be brave in self-revolution. Deputy General Manager Wang Chuandong stressed that the "14th Five-Year Plan" has entered a critical stage in the second half of the sprint. He hoped that all cadres and employees of the Group will make concerted efforts to maintain their status, continue to forge ahead with entrepreneurial passion, and contribute new value to the promotion of the Group's "1246" model.
