On May 4, Shi Baofeng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power, met with Mr. Tse Chin-wan, Director of the Environment and Ecology Bureau, HKSARG, and his delegation at the headquarters in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Both parties exchanged views on Hong Kong's green energy transition and the promotion of zero-carbon technical services and reached a consensus. He was accompanied by Dr. Hoey Simon Lee, Director and Vice President of CR Enterprise and a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.

Mr. Shi Baofeng extended his warm welcome to Mr. Tse Chin-wan and thanked the Environment and Ecology Bureau, HKSARG for its support and attention to China-invested enterprises in Hong Kong. He said that CR Power earnestly implements the spirit indicated in the letter from President Xi Jinping to mark the 80th anniversary of China Resources, carries out the Group's major strategy of "business reconstruction based on Hong Kong", and actively seeks and expands relevant business in Hong Kong. In the future, CR Power will strive to gasp the opportunity for green energy transmission in Hong Kong, fulfill its responsibility and obligation as a leading central enterprise in Hong Kong, increase its investment in Hong Kong, and introduce diversified green energy services, thus benefiting the society as a whole.

Mr. Tse introduced the climate change blueprint and relevant implementation approaches of Hong Kong in 2050, and welcomed CR Power to actively participate in and jointly promote green energy transformation in Hong Kong, thus contributing to the social and economic development and lasting prosperity and stability of Hong Kong. He said that the government attaches great importance to the participation of China-invested enterprises and strives to create a policy environment for fair participation and equal competition. At present, many measures have been taken to introduce green power and reduce carbon emissions from transportation in Hong Kong, and the industry needs to work together to accelerate the path. It is hoped that both parties will strengthen exchanges and maintain communication and practical cooperation.

This meeting was also attended by Ms. Wong Shuk-han, Deputy Director of the Environment and Ecology Bureau, HKSARG, Dr. Kenneth Leung, Principal Assistant Secretary-General, Gao Li, CFO of CR Power, heads of the Comprehensive Energy Department and relevant personnel from CR Enterprise.
