From June 13 to 16, CR Power launched the opening ceremony of the "Training Course for Potential Talents" and the theme course of "Strategic Planning" at the South Campus of China Resources Learning and Innovation Center.
Mr. Shi Baofeng, President of China Resources Power, delivered a video speech in Yunnan. By emphasizing the Party Committee's attaching great importance to this training course, he placed great expectations that the trainees would take responsibility and give a lead in their posts, and work hard for the development of the company with the expectation of the organization. Meanwhile, the trainees were expected to devote themselves to their studies, deeply understand, actively discuss, and apply to practices. In alignment with the company's "14th Five-Year Plan" strategy, the trainees should focus on thinking about the company's development direction and build confidence in developing a better CR Power.
During the training, the HR Department of the Holding Company made an overall introduction to the scheme. With the comprehensively interpreting of the manager quality model, Mr. Liu Xiusheng, Vice President of CR Power, emphasized the need for participants to improve their leadership skills and be the "young executives needed by the organization". The Group's Learning and Innovation Center shared the Group's strategic organizational and cultural methodology and CR's leadership changes, the Technology Research Institute explained the company's exploration in the field of energy technology, and the Operations Management Department interpreted the development trend of thermal power. In addition, Roland Berger gave a case report on outstanding global energy benchmarking companies, and experts from the China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute gave a presentation on the theme of high-quality development in the power industry.
Mr. Zhang Junzheng, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power, shared the company's experience in large-scale M&A with the trainees and made a concluding speech. He hoped that the trainees would develop and strengthen the "three mindsets", i.e. sales mindset, structured mindset and compliance mindset, and continue to reinforce learning during their career cycle. Furthermore, the trainees were expected to cherish opportunities, face challenges directly, and forge ahead with great ambition in the new energy situation, to make the future of CR Power more exciting, and carry and adhere to the glorious banner of CR Power.
Based on their work, the 57 trainees of the training course will apply the tools of action learning and benchmarking in the future learning process to complete the theme assignments of "strategic planning", "role cognition", "production and operation", "cultural practice", and so on in one year.
Aim at strengthening the construction of the executive echelon of CR Power, and building a platform for the development of potential talents in the holding and regional companies. The training course will provide backup for the future development of CR Power and meet the needs of the company's "14th Five-Year Plan" development.
