On November 28, Shi Baofeng, President of China Resources Power, met with Zhuang Jianqiu, Mayor of Jiyuan City, Henan Province, in Shenzhen. The two parties discussed and exchanged views on the development of the new energy industry and investment cooperation.

President Shi Baofeng greeted Mayor Zhuang Jianqiu and his party and thanked Jiyuan Municipal Party Committee and Government for their trust and support to CR Power. With the introduction of background, strategic positioning, and market advantages of CR Group and CR Power, the investment plan of CR Power in Henan and Jiyuan City during the 14th Five-Year Plan were introduced in detail. He expressed that CR Power, as a red central SOE, will actively respond to the major national strategy of “Peak Carbon Dioxide Emissions” and “Carbon Neutrality” and carry out in-depth cooperation in multiple directions and levels to assist the rapid economic development of Jiyuan City by applying the diversified industrial advantages of China Resources Group and cooperating with the development plan of Jiyuan City.

According to Mayor Zhuang Jianqiu, Jiyuan is rich in historical and cultural resources, which has a scientific and rational plan for energy development. He fully affirmed the diversified advantages of China Resources Group and the strategic positioning of CR Power. CR Power is the first stop of Jiyuan's investment promotion trip in Shenzhen. He believed that the successful exchange marked the opening of a new chapter in bilateral cooperation, and expressed that Jiyuan municipal Party committee and municipal government were willing to connect with China Resources in an all-round and in-depth manner and cooperate in new energy and other fields.
