On November 16, Shi Baofeng, President of China Resources Power, met with Ma Shengcong, Secretary of the Rui'an Municipal Committee of Zhejiang Province in Shenzhen. The two parties discussed and exchanged views on the development of the new energy industry and investment cooperation.

President Shi Baofeng greeted the visit of Secretary Ma Shengcong, gave thanks to the Rui'an Municipal Party Committee and Government for their long-term support and guidance to China Resources Power, and introduced the basic situation, strategic positioning, and market advantages of China Resources Group and China Resources Power. He said that China Resources Power actively responds to the national strategic goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality," putting a premium on developing new energy in Rui'an City. With China Resources Group's diversified industrial advantages, China Resources Power would give full play to the role of a central SOE and go all out to develop a larger scale, government-enterprise cooperation in a broader field and at a deeper level. Simultaneously, China Resources Power would integrate the new energy project with Rui'an's maritime economic development organically. Additionally, China Resources Power would bring high-end manufacturing businesses consistent with the project's characteristics, assisting Rui'an's fast economic growth.

Secretary Ma Shengcong presented the resource endowment and energy development plan of Rui'an City and fully approved the diversified advantages of China Resources Group and the strategic positioning of China Resources Power. He said that vigorously developing the marine economy is a significant decision personally planned and implemented by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his tenure in Zhejiang. It is a crucial strategic way to promote the high-quality development of Rui'an. He hoped that China Resources Power would take full advantage of tidal flats resources and sea resources, which serves as a basis for combining upstream and downstream industries to leverage resource integration. Subsequently, China Resources Power would muster all forces to actively encourage the preliminary work of cooperative projects and promote the implementation of projects without delay.
