From October 11th to 12th, Shi Baofeng, President of China Resources Power, and Zhang Junzheng, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, paid a visit the Northeast Region of China Resources Power for investigation and met with Wang Xinwei, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Shenyang Municipal Party Committee, and Zhang Chengzhong, Secretary of Panjin Municipal Party Committee.

During the meeting with the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Government leaders, the two parties exchanged views on the promotion of critical projects. Mayor Wang Xinwei expressed his expectation that China Resources and Shenyang would broaden their cooperation during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and assumed greater importance in ensuring people's livelihoods, energy supplies, and green and low-carbon development, creating a new model of "central-local cooperation." President Shi mentioned that China Resources Power would tap into its advantages, actively participate in the construction of public utilities in Shenyang, exploit the opportunities to develop clean energy projects vigorously and endeavor to the transformation and development of the local economy. Li Songlin, Member of the Standing Committee of Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, Cao Peng, Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, responsible comrades of the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Finance Bureau, Real Estate Bureau, and Development and Reform Commission, and Zuo Junjie, head of the Northeast Region of China Resources Power, attended the meeting.

During the meeting with the Panjin Municipal Party Committee and Government leaders, the two parties heartily exchanged views on deepening cooperation, safeguarding livelihood guarantees, among other matters during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. President Shi remarked that the company would resolutely assert the political responsibility of ensuring the safe supply of electricity and heat and hoped that the two parties would dig out the potential of cooperation during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, promote the development and construction of source and grid, loading and storage all-in-one projects, thus fostering the high-quality development of Panjin City. Secretary Zhang Chengzhong stated that the Panjin Municipal Party Committee and Government would fully support China Resources Power's work on guaranteeing the livelihoods of people and the source and grid, loading and storage all-in-one projects. He expected that the two parties would continue to engage in in-depth communications, promote the implementation of the project at the earliest opportunity, and inject new impetus into Panjin's economic and social development. Du Xin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Panjin Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, Xu Tonglian, Deputy Mayor, comrades in charge of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and Zuo Junjie, head of the Northeast Region of China Resources Power, attended the meeting.
