On July 21, CR Power published its 2015 Sustainable Development Report online. Since 2010, CR Power has prepared and published an annual Sustainable Development Report for the 6th year consecutively. An annual report like this consists of eight parts, and describes in full detail the work and achievements made by CR Power in fulfilling its economic, environmental and social responsibilities during the past year. This report has been comprehensively given a ranking of “five stars” by the Research Center for Corporate Social Responsibility of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Thus, it was chosen for the list of excellent corporate social responsibility reports.
The report continues the theme of social responsibility, for “Refreshing Life with Green Energy,” and covers six aspects: Responsibility management (refreshing ? morality), environmental responsibility (refreshing ? clean), shareholder responsibility (refreshing ? fertility), partner responsibility (refreshing ? sincerity), employee responsibility (refreshing ? profoundness) and public responsibility (refreshing ? helpfulness). “Refreshing” is the core concept and mainline here. The report focuses tightly on green development, energy conservation and environmental protection, and other themes of the industry and the times. It takes a Chinese ink painting of a landscape as its background. It commenced with some archaism, and explained the CSR working principles and pursuits of CR Power from the perspective of traditional Chinese culture. As such, it manifests CR Power's core philosophy: The inheritance of traditional Chinese culture and the integration with its social environment.
To improve the quality of report establishment, the planner(s) have learnt from excellent CSR reports, and they continuously improved this report in terms of procedure, substantiality, integrity, balance, comparability, readability and innovation of report establishment. This is all according to the latest foreign and domestic standards, such as the CRI Sustainable Development Report Guidelines (G4), China CSR Report Writing Guidelines (CASS-CSR3.0) and Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guide (HK-ESG). Meanwhile, CR Power invited an independent third party to conduct data authentication work for main emission indicators for the first time, in order to increase credibility and transparency of information disclosed in the report, and to improve any aspects of the identification work that can be improved.
With a soft breeze, day slips into night. A silent, soft descent, to gratify life’s thirst to its heart's content. During its mission to fulfill its social responsibilities, CR Power integrates the connotations of “refreshing” into social responsibility strategies and decisions, safety production, energy conservation and environmental protection, employee behavior, brand building, community co-construction, supply chain management and other specific work. This is all done in hopes of creating a better life together with all stakeholders, in a gentle and caring manner, like a never-ending spring rain making the world better gently and silently.
