On April 13, the Nobel Laureate Series: Future Leadership Summit & Social Caring Pledge Scheme Award Presentation Ceremony was held in Hong Kong. At the ceremony, CR Power was granted the “Excellence Award for Green Society Care” by SERI and ACKM, for the first time. This symbolizes new glory for CR Power in the field of social responsibility.

In the appraisal and selection activity, the selection criteria were developed in accordance with the guidelines from the United Nations Global Compact and United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Investment. From the standpoints of environmental protection, labor standards, advocacy of human rights, anti-corruption and other relevant aspects, SERI and ACKM set the “Excellence Award for Green Society Care,” the “Leadership Award for Social Care in Asia,” and the “Enterprise Excellence Award for Social Care.” All of these awards exist to commend enterprises on their achievements in social responsibility, and to promote their sustainable development. CR Power won the “Excellence Award for Green Society Care” by virtue of its remarkable contributions to green development, and their innovative method of growth in the field of social responsibility. The medal was endorsed and is recognized by Prof. Harald zur Hausen, Permanent Honorary Dean of SERI, and a past winner of the Nobel Prize for medicine.

At the award presentation ceremony, Ms. Wang Xiaobin, Executive Director and CFO of CR Power, received the award and spoke on behalf of CR Power. She stated that CR Power has always attached great importance to social responsibility, regarded the fulfillment of social responsibility as one of its corporate strategies and comprehensively promoted and performed its economic, environmental and social responsibilities. She added that the company made a lot of fruitful work, focusing on innovatively promoting the implementation of characteristic practices in new energy development, resource conservation and environmental protection, scientific and technological innovation and transformation, circular economy and so on, in combination with characteristics of the energy sector. The company conducted an “Open Day” activity to allow more ordinary people and related parties to get to know, recognize and trust our enterprise. This award highly affirms the actions and performances made by CR Power in social responsibility, and stimulates and urges CR Power to fulfill its future social responsibility even further. In the future, CR Power will adhere to the green development concept as always.
