On March 10th, the first electricity-selling company of CR Power, CR Power (Guangdong) Marketing Co., Ltd., was officially unveiled in Nansha, Guangzhou. This is the first “shot” that the company has fired in response to recent electricity reforms, after Beijing Electric Power Trading Center and Guangzhou Electric Power Trading Center were inaugurated on March 1st. More than 200 leaders and guests were present during this unveiling ceremony, such as relevant directors of China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd., Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd.and CR Power (Guangdong) Marketing Co., Ltd., leaders from research and development institutions and energy technology companies, as well as media reporters.
On-site, Li Xiangming, Deputy Director of the Economic & Information Commission of Guangdong Province, and Liu Ping, both Vice President of China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Thermal Power Business Unit, jointly unveiled the nameplate of CR Power (Guangdong) Marketing Co., Ltd. At the ceremony, Liu Ping announced that CR Power (Guangdong) Marketing Co., Ltd. had officially been established, indicating that CR Power’s electric power system reforms have reached a crucial stage.
Li Xiangming delivered a speech at the unveiling ceremony. He highly praised CR Power for their positive contributions and their pioneering model in the new round of electric power system reforms. He expressed his expectations for CR Power (Guangdong) Marketing Co., Ltd. as follows: (1) Continue to keep up with the national pace of reforms, giving full play to the pioneering model maintained by “red” CR, and contributing to the supply-side reform as set forth in national strategic plan during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period; (2) Continue to explore, reform and innovate, and transform challenges into opportunities in order to make positive contributions to the healthy development of electricity markets in Guangdong Province and South China.
Since its incorporation on November 23, 2015, CR Power (Guangdong) Marketing Co., Ltd. has continuously created value for customers, while actively promoting the electricity-selling side of the business. The company achieved this by adhering to the service tenet, “based on integrity, mutually beneficial cooperation, forging ahead with you, making a difference,” and by utilizing advanced market concepts and diversified competition modes. Within a two-month period, the company has visited and connected with twelve pilot industrial parks and signed letters of intent for the purchasing and selling of electricity with several companies, constantly promoting the progress of power marketization reform and effectively releasing reform benefits.
