On October 27, the 2015Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings were revealed. China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd. ranked the 75th and took the third place among the independent power producers and energy traders both in the world and in the Asia-Pacific region. It also ranked the 19th among the energy enterprises in the Asian-Pacific region, rising from the 21st in 2014. It is the first time that the company has entered the list of top 20 energy enterprises in the Asian-Pacific region.

Platts is the world’s leading provider of energy, petrochemicals, metal and agricultural information. The Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings are made according to the corporate assets, revenues, profits and return on invested capital of the companies in the previous fiscal year. All the companies selected are listed companies, each with assets worth over US$5 billion. A total of 32 enterprises in Chinese mainland and Hong Kong are listed in the Platts Top 250 Global Energy Companies this time, including 15 independent power producers and energy traders.
