Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) published the result of assessment on the responsibilities of ten thousand enterprises for energy saving targets in 2013. A total of 25 energy-consuming enterprises under CR Power joined the “Low-carbon and Energy Saving Action of Ten Thousand Enterprises”. Of them, 17 enterprises including Xuzhou CR Power Co., Ltd., Fuyang CR Power Co., Ltd. and Cangzhou CR Thermal Power Co., Ltd. were assessed as “having overfulfilled the targets”. This is another fruitful result achieved by CR Power through implementing the development concept of green revolution of traditional energy and actively fulfilling the social responsibility.

The departments in charge of energy conservation in various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, in accordance with the NDRC Notice on Issuing the Implementation Plan on the Energy Saving and Low-carbon Action of Ten Thousand Enterprises (Fa Gai Ban Huan Zi [2011]No.2873) and the Notice on Issuing the Implementation Plan on the Assessment on Responsibilities of Ten Thousand Enterprises for Energy Saving Targets (Fa Gai Ban Huan Zi [2012]No.1923), organized the assessment on the ten thousand enterprises’ fulfillment of the energy saving targets in the areas under their respective jurisdiction in 2013. The NDRC gathered and publicized the assessment results and then published the final result. The assessment contents include the fulfillment of the energy saving targets and implementation of energy-saving measures (involving the organization and leadership, energy conservation target responsibility system, energy conservation management, technological progress and implementation of energy conservation laws, regulations and standards) by the enterprises during the12th Five-Year Plan period.

A total of 1,414 central enterprises and units received the assessment on the responsibilities of ten thousand enterprises for energy saving targets in 2013. As for the assessment result, 631of them “have overfulfilled the targets”, 551“have fulfilled the targets”, 88“have basically fulfilled the targets” and 144“haven’t fulfilled the targets”, accounting for 44.63%, 38.97%, 6.22% and 10.18% respectively.
