On October 28, the 2014 Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings were revealed. China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd. ranked the 75th, rising from the100th in 2013. It took the third place among the independent power producers and energy traders both in the world and the Asia-Pacific region. Thus, CR Power has been among the “Platts Top 250 Global Energy Companies” for eight years running.

The Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings are made according to the corporate assets, revenues, profits and return on invested capital to reflect the financial performance of energy companies in the previous fiscal year, very professional and influential in the industry. All the companies selected are listed companies, each with assets worth over US$5 billion. Seven Chinese independent power producers are listed in the Platts Top 250 Global Energy Companies this time.
