On December 20, the Seminar on Green Development of Chinese Power and the Presentation Ceremony for “China's Beautiful Power Plants” were held at People's Daily Press. Seven power plants of China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited (CR Power) were honored as “China's Beautiful Power Plants”. Of them, China Resources Power Hezhou Co., Ltd. was additionally honored as "China's Beautiful Power Plant" — Humanity.

The seminar focused on issues such as opportunities and challenges faced by the power generation industry and the positive role of power plants in building a beautiful China. The event also released the list of 100 power plants honored as “China's Beautiful Power Plants” as well as the winners in eight individual award categories that included ecology, environment, humanism, harmony, safety, innovation and technology, and also unveiled the results of its photography competition. Among CR Power's seven award-winning power plants were China Resources Power Henan Shouyangshan Co., Ltd., China Resources Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd., China Resources Xuzhou/Tongshan Electric Power Co., Ltd., China Resources Power Hunan Co., Ltd., China Resources Golden Concord (Beijing) Co-generation Power Co., Ltd., Guangzhou China Resources Co-generation Power Co., Ltd. and China Resources Power Wind Energy (Jianping) Co., Ltd. Of them, China Resources Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd. was also honored as "China's Beautiful Power Plant — Humanity". In addition to this, four pieces of individual photography works from CR Power won awards in the Chinese Beautiful Power Plant Photography Competition. The active participation of CR Power's plants in the large-scale public benefit activity “Looking for China's Beautiful Power Plants” has demonstrated CR Power's eco-civilization concept of respecting, conforming to and protecting nature in the spirit of beautifying China, illustrating its staff's noble quality of loving life and work and establishing excellent images of modern power plants and power plant workers.

The large-scale public benefit activity of “Looking for China's Beautiful Power Plants” was organized by China Energy News. The Beautiful Power Plants and award-winning photography works were comprehensively selected from some 400 power plants and over 3,000 photography contributions by the organizing committee and the expert panel.
