On December 5, the Presentation Ceremony of Hong Kong Green Awards 2013 organized by Hong Kong Green Council was held in Hong Kong. The "Silver Green Management Award" went to China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited (CR Power) in acknowledgement of its perseverance in implementing the concept of "green growth" as well as its efforts and achievements in energy conservation, environmental protection, circular economy and sustainable development.

Hong Kong Green Awards was held for the first time by Hong Kong Green Council in 2010. It is intended to commend the enterprises that have been making contribution to environmental protection, as well as encourage industrial and commercial businesses to boldly assume social responsibilities and develop Hong Kong into a sustainable green city.

This year is the third year in a row that CR Group has won the Golden Green Management Award. Additionally, CR Cement and CR Properties were respectively granted the Silver Green Management Award for Service Provider and Golden Green Management Award for Service Provider, making CR Group the enterprise that won the greatest number of awards at this year’s event.
